Welcome to Formnex. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms govern your use of all features provided by Formnex, including our form submission endpoints, dashboard, webhook delivery, submission logs, and integration libraries.
These Terms apply to all users of the platform including individuals, developers, and organizations. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, you should not use the platform or its services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Your access and use of the Formnex platform signifies your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.
You agree to use Formnex only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and only for lawful and authorized purposes. Continued use of the platform indicates your ongoing agreement with any updated versions of these Terms. Your acceptance also includes agreement to any incorporated policies, guidelines, and notices communicated to you from time to time.
2. Description of Services
Formnex offers a comprehensive backend-agnostic solution to help developers and website owners manage form submissions efficiently. Services include:
- Form Submission Endpoints: Unique, secure HTTP endpoints that allow developers to post data from client-side forms without needing their own backend.
- Submission Logs Dashboard: A visual interface where users can monitor, search, sort, and filter past form submissions in real-time.
- Webhook Forwarding: Submit form data directly to external APIs or custom URLs in real time using our built-in webhook delivery engine.
- Lead Management Tools: Easily tag, label, and filter form submissions based on custom rules or metadata for improved lead tracking.
- Developer Starter Kit: Launch projects quickly using
npx @techaxis/formnex-start, which scaffolds example forms and integration snippets.
Formnex services are designed to work seamlessly with modern frameworks (like Next.js, React, and static site generators) and ensure faster go-to-market implementation.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
Access to advanced features such as webhook configuration, submission analytics, and dashboard usage requires registration. During registration, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and verifiable personal or business information
- Choose a secure password and keep your login credentials confidential
- Refrain from using temporary or fake email addresses for account creation
We may contact you to verify your account and prevent abuse or fraud.
3.2 Account Responsibilities
Once registered, you assume full responsibility for all activity conducted through your account. You agree to:
- Monitor and secure access to your account
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
- Avoid sharing credentials with others or allowing non-authorized use
Formnex will not be held liable for losses or damages caused by your failure to maintain account security.
4. API and Endpoint Usage
Formnex's form submission endpoints and APIs are built for efficient and scalable form handling. You are expected to use these tools in good faith and for legitimate purposes.
4.1 Acceptable Use
To ensure service integrity, you must not:
- Send excessive, malformed, or fraudulent submissions
- Use bots or automation to flood or stress-test endpoints
- Attempt to exploit rate limits or vulnerabilities
- Interfere with or disable system operations
We monitor usage patterns and reserve the right to block IP addresses, throttle requests, or suspend accounts if abuse is detected.
4.2 Developer Integration
Starter code and API documentation are provided to help developers integrate Formnex easily. However, you are responsible for:
- Sanitizing and validating input on your end
- Implementing security best practices (e.g., CSRF protection)
- Testing endpoints in staging environments before going live
5. Starter Library Usage
The Formnex starter CLI is designed for convenience and developer productivity.
When executing npx @techaxis/formnex-start, you receive:
- Pre-built form examples (
ContactPage.mdx,WishlistPage.mdx) - Preconfigured setup files and instructions for connecting to your endpoint
- A reference implementation of how to structure frontend forms
This code is provided under a permissive license for your internal or client-facing projects. However, redistribution of the codebase, reselling as a white-labeled solution, or removing credit to Formnex or TechAxis Solutions is strictly prohibited.
6. Submission Logs
Formnex stores submitted form data in your private dashboard for management and analysis purposes.
Each submission record may include:
- All submitted form field values
- Timestamp of submission
- Source IP address and headers
- Error status (if any)
Log Retention
Formnex does not offer long-term archival. Logs are kept for a predefined period (e.g., 30–90 days) depending on your account level. You are solely responsible for exporting and archiving your data for compliance or audit purposes.
Failure to back up your logs before they are purged may result in permanent data loss.
7. Webhook Delivery
Webhook forwarding enables real-time communication between Formnex and your server or third-party service (like Zapier, Slack, Airtable, etc.).
To ensure proper operation:
- Your webhook URL should be private and rate-optimized
- Formnex expects a
2xxstatus response to confirm delivery - Retries may occur automatically on transient failures
If webhook errors are persistent (e.g., invalid URL, timeouts), Formnex may automatically disable the endpoint and notify you.
8. Data Privacy and Security
Data submitted to Formnex is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS in transit and protected at rest.
Formnex does not review, store, or analyze your form content unless:
- You grant explicit permission for support or debugging
- We are legally required to do so
- Abuse or spam activity is detected
Your responsibilities include ensuring:
- Sensitive personal data is handled in accordance with regulations (e.g., anonymized if required)
- Data retention aligns with your privacy policy
- Secure handling of user consent for data collection (where applicable)
We recommend periodically reviewing your forms for privacy compliance.
9. Communications
By creating a Formnex account, you opt-in to receive important notifications related to your use of the platform. These communications may include:
- Legal or policy updates
- System alerts or billing reminders
- Feature rollouts and maintenance windows
- Occasional newsletters or product tips (optional)
You can manage email preferences through your account settings. Formnex respects your inbox and will never send spam or sell your contact details.
10. Prohibited Activities
You must not use Formnex to support or promote:
- Malicious activity (phishing, malware, scams)
- Infringing content or copyright violations
- Abuse of submission endpoints for bulk unsolicited messages (spam)
- Any activity that violates international laws or human rights
If your usage poses legal, technical, or reputational risks to Formnex or other users, we reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including suspension, deletion, or legal proceedings.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach any part of these Terms or applicable laws
- Your activity negatively impacts the platform or other users
- Requested information for verification is falsified or withheld
Upon termination:
- Your submission endpoints will be deactivated
- Dashboard access will be revoked
- Logs and webhook configurations may be deleted permanently
We are not responsible for any business impact or data loss following termination. Export your data regularly to avoid disruption.
12. Payment and Subscription
Formnex currently offers its services for free to all users.
In the future, we may introduce optional premium subscriptions with added value, such as:
- Longer log history and advanced analytics
- Priority customer support
- Higher submission limits and enhanced performance
- Branding customization and white-labeling features
No charges will apply without your explicit agreement. You will be notified well in advance of any changes that affect billing.
13. Service Availability and Modifications
Formnex is built on robust infrastructure but may experience temporary service interruptions.
We reserve the right to:
- Conduct routine or emergency maintenance
- Modify, enhance, or retire features
- Limit usage temporarily during upgrades or high traffic
We strive to provide notice in advance for planned changes. However, in urgent scenarios, services may be adjusted without prior warning.
14. Intellectual Property
All platform features, source code, branding materials, and content available through Formnex are owned by TechAxis Solutions, unless otherwise stated.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer our services
- Use our logos, UI components, or documentation without attribution
- Claim ownership or create confusing derivatives of our platform
If you contribute feedback, bug reports, or feature ideas, we may use them without obligation to provide compensation or credit.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under law:
- Formnex is provided “as-is” without any express or implied warranties
- We do not guarantee that services will be error-free or uninterrupted
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
In all circumstances, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
16. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do:
- The “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised
- Major changes will be communicated via email or your dashboard
- Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of the revised Terms
